GREMAC, which has become a synonym for robust and durable built drum screening machines of the compact class up to 3,500 kg „made in Germany“, is the first brand to introduce a battery-powered screening machine to the market.
Based on the proven and now internationally known e2, the e2-ePack is extended by a modular battery package.
Electrically driven drum screening machines are much more efficient than conventional, hydraulically driven machines thanks to their higher efficiency. But there are work sites that don’t offer power or where a power unit is a nuisance. This prompted the founders of GREMAC to make the e2, which already does not require any hydraulics, battery-equippable. For this purpose, high-performance lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePo4) are used, which are extremely cycle-resistant and durable even when regularly deeply discharged.
The idea was implemented by the cooperation partner and manufacturer of the e2 drum screens, H2Pro GmbH & Co. KG, based in Gundelfingen an der Donau in Bavaria.
True to GREMAC’s modular concept, all e2s produced to date can be expanded to include the ePack. The module including inverter is simply inserted into the machine instead of a power unit. This combination enables almost noiseless screening.
The variant presented has a capacity of 9.6 kWh and allows operation for up to three hours. More powerful variants are in preparation.
The ePack for the e2 is available immediately.
