GREMAC , meanwhile a synonym for robust and durable drum screening machines in the compact class up to 3,500 kg “made in Germany”, is the first brand to bring a battery-operated screening machine onto the market.

Based on the proven and now internationally known e2 , the e2-ePack has been expanded to include a modular battery pack.

Electrically driven drum screening machines are much more efficient than conventional, hydraulically driven machines thanks to their higher level of efficiency. However, there are workplaces that do not offer electricity or where a power generator is a nuisance. This prompted the founders of GREMAC to make the e2 , which already works without any hydraulics, able to be equipped with batteries. For this purpose, high-performance lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePo4) are used, which are extremely cycle-resistant and durable even with regular deep discharge.

The idea was implemented by the cooperation partner and manufacturer of the e2 drum screens, H2Pro GmbH & Co. KG, based in Gundelfingen on the Danube in Bavaria.

True to the modular concept of GREMAC , all previously produced e2 can be expanded with the ePack . The module including the inverter is simply pushed into the machine instead of a unit. This combination enables almost noiseless screening.

The variant presented has a capacity of 9.6 kWh and allows operation for up to three hours. Stronger variants are in preparation.

The ePack for the e2 is available now.
